Do you feel there will be minimum or no scaling this time???
I think there will be usual scaling in P1 as previous years but as far as P2 goes there would be less scaling. In P2 I think 180 correct attempt might convert to 160+ final score.
Hi, I called upsc office and exam centre regarding difficult level and questions out of syllabus in this years maths paper. They said that if they recieve complaints about the paper from 15-20 students , they can give grace marks.
I and my freinds have already send them mail Please send mail along with your name and roll no. at the earliest.. For authenticity , please also mention the question numbers that were out of syllabus.

Respected sir, I have written CSE 2016 mains exam with mathematics optional.
In the mathematics optional paper some of the questions were asked from topics not mentioned in the syllabus For eg: In Paper-2 question no. 1(b) question no. 3(a) question no. 5(c)
Also the general difficulty level of the questions was way higher than the bachelors level.
This will mean that almost no one with mathematics optional will make it to the final list unless there is some scaling up of marks or grace marks awarded.
Sir, please look into the issue and do the needful.
