Hmm, that is true, but reading books of Granville Austin would be suicide only. Change mein I guess current related SC judgements and constitutional articles could be done in greater detail next time. Isse zyaada would be counterproductive.

Bhai roll number ke bina toh the only hope is if copies chronologically check hoti ho, that is, they are not shuffled before providing them to examiners. UPSC call kar ke puchh lena kal.
Nahi bhai itna issue nahi hai koi as your roll number and serial number of answer booklet is there in attendence sheet..woh isliye hi hai ki agar koi likhna bhul jaaye to wahan se map ho jaaega

I am so glad my roll no. wasn't in the preliminary written result this yr after looking at this paper. I have no idea who MacBride is. No idea abt that transparency index thing. I thought that coelho question was about Paulo coelho's novels.

It's ok, I hv cleared it a couple of times b4 2016. It's novelty has worn off fr me.
This year GS2 paper has proved that just by doing laxmikant and CA is not going to help. One must have a diverse reading habit like reading Granville Austin etc. Am I getting the right inference @DrKingSchultz@pizza@mango_dolly
Bhai Granville Austin kaun padhega. People will read it and they'll ask 7 bills next time. Diverse reading ho toh it is good, but don't expect that it would surely help in the exam hall.
Waise toh yahaan sab logon ne kaafi intellectual bakar padhi hui hai, but it is not possible to include all that "enlightenment" in those 7-8 minutes. Usme phir mann ki baat hi karni padti hai. Also, agar zyaada detail mein sab kuchh likha toh wo generalist answer nahi hoga and you'll get less marks.
Ek lawyer banda tha Ajgar Jurrat. (shaayad Rank 17-18 in 2014) In 2013, he got very less in GS2, only 50s something because he wrote fancy legal terms and doctrines and all in the paper. He wrote simple layman answers for GS2 next year and scored near about 100. Toh aisa hai.
Absolutely... Domain expertise ke liye optional paper hai... Copy check karne wale ko hi nhi Pata hoga to no kyu denge... Therefore I didn't write the pub ad definition of good governance I. E. Of aid conditionally and development assistance... In Ethics paper...
