Regarding Yearbooks

edited August 2013 in Miscellaneous
Hi all,
I am preparing for CSE 2014(first attempt). Please tell me
What is the time of release of any yearbook and what span of time does it covers?
Will yearbook 2013 will be of my help or I should go for yearbook 2014?
And lastly which yearbook should be followed?

Any information regarding this will be very useful.
Thanks in advance

  • Don't bother with yearbooks. They aren't useful for even Prelims, forget Mains. The only yearbook which can be a little useful would be the India Year Book published by Publications Division, GoI. "India 2014" would be out around Feb-Mar 2014 and would cover first three quarters of 2013. It is strictly not a yearbook as most of the content is static and can be covered better by skimming through annual reports of the respective ministries/departments. You would be better off reading newspaper everyday.
  • In case, you still want to go through "India 2014", you may refer to an approach that mrunal had published for "India 2013" @ mrunal.org
