Dilemma

edited November 2016 in Official Exam Process
Confusion abt CSE-17. I failed in CSE prelims-16. Now I am preparing for 17. Got in the CGL-16 list of tier-1. My first option is CSS-ASO so that I can prepare from Delhi If I get selected in CGL-16.

Is it possible to prepare.Do we get enough time.Do we get permission to write CSE-17 as the time to write and join are close.

Main doubt : What to do if we get selected before prelims and after notification ,as there is a "Did you inform your employer clause" . When to inform after? Though hypothetical situation of selection in CGL ,please fancy the idea and give me suggestion.

As of now, there are zero vacancies for CSS.

Also, you are assuming that you will comfortably clear CPT.

Even if the result is out by April 2017, it will take more than six months for you to get formally alotted.
Sometimes, it even takes an year.I suggest you focus on preparing for TIER2 right now. There are other posts that give you an option to stay in Delhi.
