what happened to obc issue, @TAR ,,,, any updates on this.
No idea..waise court ko reject karni chahiye appeal as court itself in the patwari issue allowed this kinda result for qualifying exams.. Lekin court ka kya bharosa, saale girgit hain.. government ke against aur logon ka maseeha banne ka ek aur mauka mil gaya hai, itni aasani se thodi na jaane denge..

As i mentioned on the 1st page...contemporary rajasthan by bhalla.. Its the only standard book available in english..i amnt sure if its updated or not..
Hindi me padhne ki koshish kar lo bhai..it would help in rpsc as all the material is in hindi only..
Hello Everyone.. I had a query. since the cut off for obc is more than gen category. are there chances that the matter would go in court? would there be a stay on the prelims result for RAS. I didnt clear UPSC prelims and now hopes are on this. please help.
Hello bhai, Hopefully all those who got more than general cut off marks will be included for mains exam. People are working to storm it to the highest level, don't worry no injustice will be done. Have some faith in judiciary. There are few issues which people are raising. The so called "champion of transparency"/RPSC will have to put things in a very transparent manner to resolve these issues. Main issue is:
1. RPSC has followed the single bench judgement, which says that reservation can be denied at the preliminary stage of the recruitment, as seen in the Patwari recruitment. This judgement has been challenged in the Supreme court. So until and unless SC gives a judgement in this case, RAS mains 2016 cannot take place!
My take on this- when reservation has been denied at the prelims stage then why didn't they just take top 11000 people who hold merit marks wise? They have declared the category wise results by following the formula of seats reserved for a particular category *15 times of the candidates from that particular category, but by doing so they are contradicting their stand that reservation has not been given, but they ended up giving reservation to general as well.
2. Almost all the recruitment conducted by RPSC and subordinate boards are being challenged in the courts due to similar issues. Not a single recruitment process is being done without controversies so it's really painful.
My advise to you and other people from OBC category would be : 1. Next time onward always apply in the general category for any exam being conducted by RPSC or the subordinate boards. No point applying under OBC as the mood has changed since the new government is in place. People are playing with OBC reservation as its not given by the Indian constitution. You can even see,how the cut-off gaps have reduced between OBC and general category in the UPSC exam. So be wise and apply under General category!! 2. Don't compromise your UPSC preparation for state exams, no matter what. You never know which state recruitment is going to be quashed by the courts.

Reservation being denied at pre stage is erroneous....suppose only 200 Sc qualify for pre without reservation..they will have virtual cakewalk in getting selected as reservation will apply at later stages...similarly for every category.
@jal bhai, even I am saying the same thing that positive reservation has been applied. general category also got the reservation (at least from the point of view of a OBC candidate who got 92 and still not in the list.) General category has been at the receiving end post-mandal era, now its for the OBCs. I have no intent to start the reservation debate here. I am just giving an advise to OBC candidates to make their life easier. Next time they won't have to feel cheated or anything as idea of merit should prevail. So my advise to all the OBC candidates is why not compete in the general category ? when someone who can score 90+ or say 85+, that means they have the potential and can easily compete with general category. If they had applied in the general they would have made it. Isn't it? so simple its like subsidy giving up thing, all the bright students of OBC should compete in the general category especially for the exams conducted by RPSC, that way they will help their OBC brothers and sisters who will apply under OBC to clear this exam with low marks compared to general candidate. Sacred reservation (given to SC &ST) is not going to end or even modified until and unless god himself take the incarnation to destroy it or people start giving it up. And one more thing nobody wants to talk about it either. PS: If anything written above has hurt anybody, please forgive.
@MARCOS . you made a valid point. I also believe there shouldn't be injustice done to anyone. I am from the gen category though. My concern was whether the mains would happen in dec as planned or its still dubious.
