Books for self study : Short of time, so please help

After posting my situation on this forum ( only self study option available with very less time for writing and tests and with only 180 marks (paper 1+paper 2) in history with little scope of improvement) , i have decided that among PSIR , Geog and Anthro , it is the last one that seems the most scoring and most feasible for self study (correct me if I am wrong) .

So , kindly suggest me books and material for the entire Anthro syllabus that I can order online

Help will be greatly appreciated.

I have also shifted from PA to Anthro. I am reading from Braintree notes and they seem to cover at least the basics of whole syllabus.

I have the notes of Braintree as well as Vaid. I found neither useful for the exam.
I would suggest you to start with Ember and Ember to get the hang of the subject. While it is easy to understand the concepts superficially, one needs to have deep understanding.
Then you can move on to P. Nath and B. M. Das for physical anthropology. Personally, I don't like either. I rely more on Internet for the physical part.
Socio-cultural part- Majumdar Madan, Barbara Miller, Ember

Indian anthro- nadeem hasnain's indian anthropology, indian society by sc dubey, Internet.

Tribal india- Nadeem hasnain, Internet. There's another book called Who cares for tribal development (can't recall the author's name)

Anthropological thought- upadhyay and pandey's history of anthropological thought, makhan jha. I am yet to come across a book on Thoughts and Theories which can satisfy me. This part is a bit tricky and needs an insane amount of patience.
Use of Internet for almost all topics becomes necessary as there aren't many standard textbooks available.

If u r not from biology background then it may prove disaster in paper 1 because physical anthro part covers 75 percent of the paper and there u have to compete with bio background people .

I was a PCMB guy in class 12 (with 99/100 marks in bio ) . would that help ?
