To what extent does it make a difference between a candidate who has cleared the civil services exam in first attempt and others?
i mean in promotions,etc
pls ans in terms of age of the selected candidates as well…the difference in service that one would feel if selected in the top rankers in the first attempt at a young age
1)If Top Ranker + Selection Below 25 years of age = Will retire from the Post or Rank of Chief Secretary / Secretary to Union Government.
2) If Top Ranker +Selection between 26-29 years of age = Will retire from the post or Rank of Additional Chief Secretary Or Additional Secretary to Union Government... Or sometimes they also become the Chief Secretary of state ( depending on vacancies)
3) If Top Ranker + Selection after 30 years of age = Wil Retire from the Post of Principal Secretary.
# Above all Ranks and Promotion stuffs are in respect of IAS.
# In the IPS, if anyone gets enter at the age of 28-30 then also there is a very high probability of Reaching the post/ Rank of Director General of Police, at the time of their retirement.
