Also, if anyone can tell which one is more do-able between IASbaba and Insights, in terms of daily answer writing and their Mains initiatives. I want to focus on one. Thanks
This i had joind the test series before pre, I have already attempted 11 tests(topic wise) my observations 1)question level good, not very tough but not easy either 2)Reviews are informative and helpful 3)discussion videos really good
Overall i found it satisfactory. Bakki my tips would be don't take their marks very seriously, just use it as an practice and improvement and make yourself better. Bakki i'm sure UPSC questions would be more tougher than this but this test series will help you a lot.
Regarding Insights secure its good coverage is vast so one wont miss out on anything. Tips: not all the questions are important try to solve atleast 4(of course relevance matters) and do this in a fixed time like 30 mins, it will help you.
I joined Vision testseries last year but focussed on my optional and neglected GS tests completely for which I paid off heavily
Gave just 2 out of 8 tests and got dismal marks
I completely agree with @bugsbunny that we should not take their marks seriously and focus on practice and time management ( they gave me Marks in the range of 70-80 in essays but I ended up with 120)
Is gktoday mains test series good ?? Which would be better gktoday of vision ?? Please any body??
As I had to take the test series from home(distance mode that is), so I opted for vision ias , of course there are other decent test series like sriram ias, gs score et al , but I want for this as I liked vision ka question better that's it , but after taking the test series I learned one big thing that is none of these test series cam provide the level of UPSC so it's futile to expect. So that's why I would suggest ki choose a test series based on their competencies , that is how quickly they check your paper , whether u get any additional materials or not, whether they give any kind of guidance or not , any kind of discussion video available or not(for distance students) etc..... These things should be in your mind when your looking to join a test series. And as already been mentioned you should be very clear why you're joining a test series and join that module only which u think u can complete or else it would only result into waste of money and effort(it's a common sense but time and again we fall in that trap). Finally do insights or ias baba or whatever there is as well (their daily questions) along with one of the test series. Happy writing (sorry for additional gyan )
I haven't joined Vision mains mock test. But is there any way to get their model answers to mock test? Also, is it possible for a person who have not joined their mock test to get access to their discussion videos?
