  • I took vision IAS last year.

    Pro:
    1. Flexibility of schedule. Can be modified according to one's own plan.
    2. Good quality of questions and solutions.
    3. Sectional tests help in in-depth study.

    Cons:
    1. Flexibility of schedule. Leads to procrastination and unless one is very sincere he/she ends up not giving the tests.
    2. Sometimes questions can be very bookish.
  • Joined GS score last year.(G's and ethics both)

Won't recommend going there. And especially not ethics test series, reason being loss of originality in writing.( Maybe I was dumb enough to think this could be reason but I really did follow the line of thinking being parroted in discussion post ethics tests)

Exactly, as far as possible stay away from ethics test series. Just write previous year papers of ethics and few (at max 2-3) mocks. Ethics coaching would be even more detrimental.

Ethics is a simple subject. Keep the preparation simple. Too much advice will unnecessarily complicate it.

  • @phoenix2015

    What about paper checking?
I heard that most of them are checked by experienced aspirants and not by teachers.....is that true?

I also heard that bt moral of the story is to seat 3hrs with focus and writing . Last yr, I wrote SRIRAM IASmains test series , I got what mistakes I am making while writing answers. So, it worked for me. I hope to do well this time.
  • @Godubhai.... Can you share with us your experience regarding Sriram?
    Thanks
  • @MD47 agree with @phoenix2015 . People say that vision IAS checking is done by aspirants but I found it to be satisfactory. Got marks on the expected lines.
