For any two fixed quantities, where product is constant:-
A X B = Constant
An increase in 1/x in A needs a corresponding decrease in 1/(x+1) in B to keep the product constant.
Here 20% increase ↑ = 1/5 ↑ => x=5 hence decrease should be 1/(x+1) = 1/6 = 16.67%
:-) Applies to all questions like
Price*consumption = contant Speed*Distance = constant efficiency*no.of days = constant etc.
