Just a newbie starting to visit lecture series happening around the city so thought we forum members can collaborate and visit these events.. maybe a great way to hang out as well meet fellow people.. starting off with the lectures .. plz share if u can any info about the talks .. regards

can understand yet lot many discussions do come up pretty frequently though.. yesterday had gone for Amartya Sen and Jean Dreeze book launch at the same centre ..discussion 2 took place .. so was fun though

Nice initiative bro. 7PM is late I think. It'll get over by 9-10 and then the metro could screw us up.
Open to any lecture in the daytime maybe.

31th July 2013 lecture by Dr. Kartik Shanker ( IISC Banglore )on " Wagging the dog: The use and abuse of science in marine conservation of Orissa @ nehru memorial museum and library , teen murti house.. will keep u posted about the timing

i think the lectures in teen murti house takes place in the afternoon.. had gone for Prof. Madhav Gadgil's lecture on "Democracy and ecology in contemporary india" at around 3.. so maybe hoping it does is the same this time

telephone no. of nehru memorial museum and library is 011-23010666 .. plz confirm.. as far as i checked with them. they are saying that unless notified all lectures will be held at 3.pm
