***CAN WE COUNT ON US?????***** Dear Friends, It has been noticed that some of us are not convinced about the strategy we are going to pursue. I would like to appeal to all of you that whatever gaps you see in the execution is because of severe capacity constraint in terms of people, finances and procedural complexities involved. Nevertheless we have made progress. 1. We have got credible information from trusted insiders that government is seriously considering addressing the procedural anomalies with the Civil Services recruitment process. Also, we have come to know that Government wants to adopt the new recommendations after clearing the baggage of the past. Because of the very nature of the working of the Government, we have little avenues to seek detailed clarification, but our interpretation is that our issue will get addressed and we will get two compensatory attempts. 2. To proceed in the same direction, we are planning for multiple protests in Capital and important districts in Uttar Pradesh. Our cadres are travelling this week in order to do the ground work and organize the protests. All along we have to be very conscious that we have to put forward our request as a group, not affiliated to any political formation which is not aligned with the government. 3. All these plans and strategies have vital dependence on the morale of this group. Many members are apprehensive about the strategy and its effectiveness. I would like to convey to them, that our plan is based on a very realistic assessment of our capacity and feasibility. Any overtly ambitious plan with poor resource base is destined to fail miserably. 4. There are many alternative plans, which are better and seem more effective than this one. For instance , approaching the opposition, taking legal recourse, organizing mass protest, and many more. But the lack of manpower on ground is constraining us, and we have to settle for a combination of lobbying and petitioning and some protests. 5. While we all are full of optimism, we can crash land and just fizzle out if we don't contain the negativity. All our plans are based on the UNCONDITIONAL and CONTINUOUS support from all of YOU. CAN WE COUNT ON US????? All those who are with us say YES...

My trusted insider who has close connection with DoPT and UPSC official told me that Govt will give us two attempts if we show huge ground protest...Even DoPT Officials are annoyed with our group...They keep on saying like that " is group me koi unity nahin hai ...koi plan nahin hai....support bhi kam hai...baat karna nahin aate" Govt want to provide extra attempt so that Govt will get some popularity.
SC ne jab fundamental rights itne baar ulat palat diye to is rulling mai kya hai..ek baar jor laga ke koshish to karo...yaar sab badal jayega...na jane kitne logon ko ek extra attempt bina jyada mehnat ke mil jayega..I think SC mai PIL se kaam chal jayega
To all those requiring attempt, if u r not with this movement u r effectively against it... N this is precisely the reason why we are still struggling.....
TSR has to issue threats to make his report public but govt. lets nothing out. Baswan recommendations are 'leaked' to news papers days before even the report is submitted.
The intent of the govt. is clear.
And the student group seems helpless (because of no ground support by students) and under the influence of the ruling party (sadly because of lack of viable alternative - non existence of a strong opposition, so they don't want to antagonize the government)
