Delhi craze

Why do aspirants feel the need to flee to delhi inspite of the congested,polluted environment there when they could study happily in their homes?.I personally feel coaching classes are a waste of time in this internet age where everyone could get all the materials in just a click of mouse and one should have his unique style of preparation.I have read many stories about the plight of aspirants in delhi and that made me really scared.Infact even my parents urged me to go to delhi but i clearly said them thats impossible for me or for that matter even to chennai which is near to me.I study from a remote village and I feel comfortable in my environment.I kindly request aspirants to think two to three times before fleeing to delhi due to herd mentality.

brother ur story is very similar to mine..my parents especialy my sister who cares me a lot force me to go to delhi for upsc prep just only beacause my native's/neighbors apprehensive quote for me. native:what he is doing now?; supercaring mom/sis-:nothing he is preparing for 3'c; native:3'c? which exam is this?; mom: no actually it is not a single exam but a combo of exams ie collector,conductor and compounder; native: with hidden smile,oh! its correct if not get into collectory,compoundry is the saviour; native: why not u send him to delhi.all coaching is in delhi.all facility is in delhi.my son is also in delhi so why'nt?; super caring mom: i have urged him but he did'nt listen to me saying "he dont need any coaching n test series is suffice"; native: then forget about selection.he is trying to be oversmart; brother i think forum ias,insightoneindia, vision ias,gs score,ias saints etc just arrived but sriram,vajiram et al ruling for decades in delhi sultanate hence it require time,strategy,enthusiasm and money to thrased their castles. beside this i m marching to delhi to save myself from neighbors and parent's selfless anxiety.but not joining any coaching.1st attempt-2017-zoology-1st attempt is golden chance.

One trend is consistent among ppl in delhi who r from other states. They always abuse delhi and say ppl r very fast in delhi. Sometimes i feel its too much . Its like doing hole in eating plate. Dont come bro . If u cant make it better dont crib. Stay where u become happy. Some ppl from gujarat who always abuses delhi have also come to delhi. Its like spit licking.

No one compels them to come to Delhi but when they come they just keep abusing every tiny little thing associated with Delhi. some people abuse Delhi without even coming to delhi by sitting thousands of kilometres away in some Naxalite area.
which developed city is not congested, which city is not polluted. now many cities in India are way more polluted than Delhi. it's just that abusing Delhi is a fashion statement.

reality is in this age of internet ;online deleivery of books ; u only need a suportive enviroment ; now the choice is between your paternal home town with good food ;facility supportive people vs a unknown city for you ;

Rather than abusing its better to understand the situation and make it better. If u cant help it go where u r happy. Yes crime rates r high women feel unsafe pollution etc all r facts. But it happens in every city where migration is too much. And many other factors also contribute to probs in delhi. Abusing doesnt solve any. It may only lead to a dental or facial problem or pain in sensitive region caused by angry delhi ppl

It's just that your statement "Those who abuse Delhi are the ones who can't come to Delhi. Angoor khatte hai" is patently wrong.
Nothing is stopping me from coming to Delhi for prep. It's just that I find it pointless and would prefer to prepare from home instead.

yes bro what I meant to say is that one can't abuse anything without even experiencing it. people are abusing Delhi without even coming here.that's what i wanted to say
