As we all know Lucent G.K book has been a panacea for many one day exams. From a railway exam aspirant to a Upsc aspirant many guys have this book on their study table.... Senior aspirants please share your views on the relevance of this book for upcoming CSP exam.
Very important.. Everytime 5-10 questions can be solved easily if you have read Lucent Bible SELECTIVELY.. !!
IMO History is must to read. After that Geography ,Science also equally important portions. BUT MUST SKIP POLITY PORTION..Sheer time waste given cse pattern and depth in polity.. Economy depending on your taste and quick revision of few facts...
But red line is LUCENT is good for Quick Revision.. without Ncerts thorough reading it will be of NO usage..bcz otherwise it will be mere DATA..information can be learned only if you know the Concepts/Chronology from Ncert ..
In short COST TO BENEFIT RATIO IS AMONG HIGHEST for Lucent GK big book Vis a Vis any other book Except LAXMIKANTH POLITY (subjected to condition that your basics are strong)

I repeat...USEFUL JUST FOR QUICK REVISION.. ONLY A COMPLEMENTARY NOT A SUBSTITUTE AT ALL FOR NCERTs !!... static hi h..dynamic is 0% in Lucent ..that's y not so useful in Economy etc.. But HISTORY is a must..thoroughly covered facts !!
^^I have 2014 one and it's usefulness is same !! ..Lucent is 99% static ..Purchase from market directly it is available anywhere !! Yupp it's same..bs bolna bdi wali gk buk Lucent dedo ..
