I think soon I'll land up in a mental asylum if unable to handle revision pressure. Kindly help :-(

Comments

  • Revision will be tough when the initial preparation is incomplete or not of good quality. Even now it's not too late.

The best course now will be to dedicate time for each subject and then revise it immediately after completing it thereby increasing the memory power.
  • Failing in prelims is better than going to mental asylum . you can always try next time . but if you lose mental stability , it will be tough to get back . Stay cool .. Best results come when we are relaxed . All the points mentioned by @banned are great . try those .
Following lines I find helpful when I face similar issues :
    कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
    मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७ (Gita)

(You have the right to work only but never to its fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction)

Worrying won't make anything better . enjoy the studies . output will be much better .
Hope that wasn't too much of advice
    All the best !
  • Be cool... everyone of serious aspirant may crossed ur state of mind. just solve last 3 years Upsc prelims general studies paper... to know your strength and weakness on static subjects like polity, his, geo, economy basics.. after knowing this study basic books on this while studying solve insights 2015 &insights 2016 ,ias baba test series to check it accuracy of answering... follow strategy by @banned above.. always remember. passing UPSC is part of life.. not end of life...all the best
