Failing in prelims is better than going to mental asylum . you can always try next time . but if you lose mental stability , it will be tough to get back . Stay cool .. Be cool... everyone of serious aspirant may crossed ur state of mind. just solve last 3 years Upsc prelims general studies paper... to know your strength and weakness on static subjects like polity,his,geo,economy basics.. after knowing this study basic books on this while studying solve insights 2015 &insights 2016 ,ias baba test series to check it accuracy of answering... follow strategy by @banned above.. always remember. passing UPSC is part of life.. not end of life...all the best
