Myself:
I found Reynolds 6 rs pen to be good enough, but I have a decent grip.
I have even used Reynolds Jetter for a couple of exams.
But I am sure there are better pens out there. I don't like 0.7 pens, I prefer sharper pens 0.5.
But the key here is that I did a lot of pullups. That helped me stay fit too and also built my grip.
However, if pain is too much of a problem, you can try fountain pens. They are lighter on hands, and the speed is as good if not better than ball/pilot; and the handwriting can be much better.
Try this: http://www.amazon.in/Lamy-12-Transparent-Medium-Fountain/dp/B00PS91PUC/ref=sr_1_2?s=office&ie=UTF8&qid=1465606901&sr=1-2
But you need to get waterproof ink https://www.amazon.com/Parker-Permanent-Refill-2-ounce-S0037460/dp/B004YK4VHA
I have used this too, and its just amazing.
Otherwise, you are better off spending 200-300 rs and get a good collection of pens and try them all out and decide for yourself.
