Is it compulsory in UPSC form to show previous govt work experience in which you have been dismised

my brother has been dismissed from PSU as he was on leave for more than 1.6 years
will these be consider as disqualification from future govt job
will he has to show in upsc that he has been dismised earlier from govt job ,
anywhere upsc ask it at any level please help me
(he was not confirmed probationary employee )

  • me too want to know bcoz in attestation form it needs to be mentioned...
  • of course you'll have to mention. hiding any information can be a huge problem on some later stage. and it's not like they will not do your background check. they will know.
  • If you have been dismissed or have any case pending against your name, Yes. Hiding such info might be taken as a fraud case and the person will face consequences for such actions. Upsc can restrict the person from appearing in any examination conducted by upsc for 4years. Be careful. Consult a lawyer before submitting the application.

    If you have resigned without complications then you might skip that(would be utter useless to not mention the experience and knowledge gained thereof).
