discriminating against Tb patients by doctors or anyone right or wrong ??

Today i went to hospital to see one of my relative & for some purpose i went to doctors room where she was checking patients file , suddenly a new patient entered in her room as she was busy he sat on the chair nearby after some time he started coughing & the lady doctor got so angry shouted on him & insulted him very very badly literally his tears started , his only mistake was that being a Tb patient he entered doctors room , so the que is discriminating against such people is punishable or not & should doctors do this , i know this is a communicable disease but still one should not loose our humanity

Comments

  • precautions lene chayie patients ko ,mask and inform, ask for permission before enter the room .rest 2-3 doctor in my hospital gets tb some even get have accidents with syringes while admn hiv patient care so doctors are living in uite risky env too !
  • currently i am down with measles bcoz i witnessed high flow of measles patients in my clinic in last few days
  • Both were wrong.
  • It might be behaviour of Dr which could go wrong but the intension was very much correct. Not only doctor was at risk of getting infection but others also who were in the room at that time. TB is highly contagious so there was a positive discrimination which is ethically correct.
