If you use reservation at any stage of the recruitment process, then you'll be classified as a reserved candidate. This is because, had it not been for reservations, you would have lost out at one point or another. To put it simply, it's a 'no reservations, no selection for you' situation. It's a very straightforward logic. This method of selection of reserved candidates, at least, is not fraudulent in any way.
