gravitational waves have always crossed our life...may be these waves affects our life....which we often called fate......the astrology which people often believe are nothing but affects of gravitational waves from far away stars.....a slight manipulation changes our fate... for eg. a miniscule change in this field can push a person slightly on a road at the perfect time when a car is arriving making an accident... or a person while writing an exam on a particular day suddenly feels the pen is heavier than usual and his fingers could not write much, thus reducing his marks in that paper... or when the examiner is checking a bundle of papers suddenly falls from the chair changing his mood of giving marks.... and so on
Have been interested in relativity from school days .. But never came across this thing .. Linking gravitational wave and fate .. Any reading on this ??

i was giving a religious hindutva touch to it...it was more of a sarcasm...but there is some small amount of reason too...einstein always believed in fate, a predestined life...nothing in this universe is random, despite being an atheist jew.....he hated heisenberg so much and often ridiculed him that new generations are bringing up crazy theories... (heisenberg who brought up uncertainty principle thus blocking einsteins view of predetermined universe) ..gravity is like einstein's view of the world...doesn't mix up with other forces similar to the views of einstein which didnt mix up with most of the physicists of his time......Despite his huge contribution for quantum mechanics, he always hated it in later life...his famous quote "god doesn't play dice" shows how much he belived in predestination where fate of the universe and its events are sealed and not random anyway...
i read stuffs some 5-6 years earlier.....nowadays i am not updated with all this...
Its just about time to study the characteristics of gravitational waves. Space communication, Power and Energy transmission in space, maybe we can define and model the entire space-time continuum in a totally new way or perhaps vacuum could be a thing of past. Only time will tell, whether we have a competitor for the speed of light.
we may have gravity-circuit boards instead of electronics ckt boards... hehe...gravitons travel at c speed ,faster than electrons ..so we would have faster communication...
just like electromagnetic induction, what if change in gravitational waves, induces a change in space and time? Like you said, accidents could be averted, teleportation can be possible.. damnnnnnnn
bhai u r saying the opposite...gravity is the effect while space time curvature is the cause (from einstein view which belives in cause and effect of universe)....when there is a change in space time curvature, then only gravity originates..
True, but we never knew of electromagnetic induction until it was discovered. Same is with gravity now. If gravitational waves can be modeled, the effect can be caused to induce effects in the original causation.
Well, anyways, its all amateur fantasy speculation as of now, only time will tell what is in store. Philal, optional calling, see ya bhai.
electro magnetic induction was realised when scientists were trying to find out whether there is any relation between magnetic forces and electrical forces ...faraday discovered it by inventing electromagnets it but could not explain its origin, it was maxwell who gave the push..so now electric force and magnetic force got married...
Actually induction means different...however let me try to explain how it would be possible to make ur statement true.... gravity is different, induction means interaction between 2 forces of nature....gravity still has ego problems, doesn't interact with other forces, so no chances of induction till now....einstein died died trying to find the relation between gravity and other forces..but failed...may be one day gravity will talk to other forces...and from that day revolution will occur, we would be able to harness gravity...if we harness gravity then we can squeeze space-time by for eg.. building wormholes....
In my understanding its the mass that bends space time and causes gravitational effect ... And if there is enough mass we can harness gravity..And wormhole is possible only thru two black holes ..

possibility is there...when e-m waves affects us, g-waves should also affect us...but we dont know ...we are surrounded of ocean of dark matter which interact only through g-waves...may be these dark matter mean something for us...there are some theories on that by some authors/scientist, i have read...

Yes i missed the velocity part . moving body causing gravity...will have to go through these once the time permits ( preparation phase never allows that). This topic is way too interesting to ignore ..

no not mysticism...i dont believe it...i am completly and have complete faith in science..

i read those stuff much before preparation...nowadays cannot read such new things/books...pls go on and do share if u find something interesting...General theory is very much interesting than special theory of relativity...try following kip thorne (the scientist behind the interstellar movie) ...he is the man in this field nowadays...in fact he is a co-founder of the LIGO project too.....
