I think answer of first ques is wrong or misinterprated
And i dont read next ans
What should be the correct interpretation? Pls elaborate
yaar the ans should be in 3 parts it addressed 1st part only. 2nd part should be how tradition and culture evolved like architecture, religion, language, art and other tradition, continuity in it. Here nehru's discovery of india's some theme could be put in context. 3rd part should have been the reason of non continuity of greek egypt and mesopotamia civilization like enlightenment and Renaissance, then impact of colonialism etc.
It's my interpretation rest madam history ki expert hai.

i addressed 1 and 3 aspect.. 2nd waala aspect ka bas hint hai..
i thought egypt mesopotamia civilisations were contemporary to harrapan civilisation..harappans traded with both…so I wrote mostly indus valley features..which period shud hv been included in this..Ye solution wale to indus se gupta tak include kar rahe hai @poonam2804@warrior0602
I first addressed the features of tradition and culture of Harappan civilization and how they have carried on to the present age and how hindu culture continued with elements of Indus Valley. After that I addressed the Egypt, Mesopotamia and Greece part and explained why the culture of their civilizations did not carry on. I wrote that with the rise of christianity and Islam, both being against idolatory and polytheism, the cultural practices of Mesopotamia, Egypt and ancient greece were done away with.
I found the first answer to be beautifully written. In question we had to write why our culture remained continuous over the years, and why it was not so in cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia and Greek. It was not about just giving examples of cultural elements which are continuous. That can be included, but more emphasis should be on difference between cultures in terms of continuity and discontinuity.

@TheWhiteTiger though you have not asked me, but May I answer your question. In question term "ancient Indian Civilization" is there, so we can write about, whole of ancient period, of which Harappa is just a part.
