Now things have come to such a pass that a CM in full public view horribly humiliates a bureaucrat. Shameful,provocative,outrageous and despicable act..needs severe condemnation of such behaviour by politicians.BLATANT DISREGARD OF BUREAUCRACY
I sometimes just want to stop going after this craze after seeing such incidents. Where is the dignity in what we do, if any tom dick and harry can slap us???
Its just an act of violence. What one is supposed to do if he get slapped? option 1) hit back option 2) report to police Obviously option 1 is not suitable here. Here repute of bureaucrat got tarnished and he should have guts to fight back within the ambit of law. If he has some amount of self-respect he should file an FIR against CM and if police deny to register it due to political pressure then he should approach directly judiciary(which he can).
It says CM slapped by mistake while trying to avoid a crowd. And for the record, the senior official claimed that he wasn't slapped by the CM. {The earlier link said that the officer stepped on his foot.)
This is India and its vigilant media. What a heap of BS. Oh by the way, it'd have been great had it happened the other way round, innit?

Action against IAS only ? Even if there would have been a proof that the CM hit him first ?
