I need some immediate advice. My subject is economics but I may join this bank of Baroda Manipal banking prog where a 9 month course to prepare future bank managers is conducted . I am linking the syllabus pdf for you all to have a look. Depending on the syllabus, will making a switch to commerce as an optional subject make sense? (since preparing 2 subjects at once will be tough for me). Please any sane advice will be welcomed.

1. Its just subject list, and not detailed syllabus. So hard to make comment on this. But based on subject list: 2. Accounts, FM is given in subject list but not sure if they would cover the topics of UPSC. Paper 2 marching things are apparently less. 3. As u HV economics optional, assuming that u have some relevant background for that and must have covered some UPSC course as well till date, unless u have equally relevant background for commerce (and interest as well), switching is not advisable.
A derailed syllabus and information about ur background would be more useful for making a better suggestion.
@RSquare Thank You for the reply. I have done M.A in Economics so a healthy amount of interest for the subject exists. The issue is that the job will nigh on exhausting. and since I am going to put in next 9 months studying a different syllabus, I don't want to distribute my total effort between 2 different subjects. I will have to be precise with my efforts.
I will most probably get the whole syllabus details within next 3 weeks or so. If it is fine, I will contact you for a detailed opinion then.

1. Does Chandlers thesis have any implication to small business management
2. How will you classify organisations based on rate at which they change their products or markets
3. Organisations are not snapshots, they are motion pictures..
Or
The birth of a human being is explicitly defined-the emergence of child from birth canal. When is an organisation born?
Or
An organisation is to some degree a product of its history
Discuss above statements in light of life cycle of organisation..
