अपने मुँह मियाँ मिट्ठू बनना - (स्वयं अपनी प्रशंसा करना ) - अच्छे आदमियों को अपने मुहँ मियाँ मिट्ठू बनना शोभा नहीं देता । २.अक्ल का चरने जाना - (समझ का अभाव होना) - इतना भी समझ नहीं सके ,क्या अक्ल चरने गए है ? ३.अपने पैरों पर खड़ा होना - (स्वालंबी होना) - युवकों को अपने पैरों पर खड़े होने पर ही विवाह करना चाहिए । ४.अक्ल का दुश्मन - (मूर्ख) - राम तुम मेरी बात क्यों नहीं मानते ,लगता है आजकल तुम अक्ल के दुश्मन हो गए हो । ५.अपना उल्लू सीधा करना - (मतलब निकालना) - आजकल के नेता अपना अपना उल्लू सीधा करने के लिए ही लोगों को भड़काते है । ६.आँखे खुलना - (सचेत होना) - ठोकर खाने के बाद ही बहुत से लोगों की आँखे खुलती है । ७.आँख का तारा - (बहुत प्यारा) - आज्ञाकारी बच्चा माँ -बाप की आँखों का तारा होता है । ८.आँखे दिखाना - (बहुत क्रोध करना) - राम से मैंने सच बातें कह दी , तो वह मुझे आँख दिखाने लगा । ९.आसमान से बातें करना - (बहुत ऊँचा होना) - आजकल ऐसी ऐसी इमारते बनने लगी है ,जो आसमान से बातें करती है । १० .ईंट से ईंट बजाना - (पूरी तरह से नष्ट करना) - राम चाहता था कि वह अपने शत्रु के घर की ईंट से ईंट बजा दे। ११.ईंट का जबाब पत्थर से देना - (जबरदस्त बदला लेना) - भारत अपने दुश्मनों को ईंट का जबाब पत्थर से देगा । १२.ईद का चाँद होना - (बहुत दिनों बाद दिखाई देना) - राम ,तुम तो कभी दिखाई ही नहीं देते ,ऐसा लगता है कि तुम ईद के चाँद हो गए हो । १३.उड़ती चिड़िया पहचानना - (रहस्य की बात दूर से जान लेना) - वह इतना अनुभवी है कि उसे उड़ती चिड़िया पहचानने में देर नहीं लगती । १४.उन्नीस बीस का अंतर होना - (बहुत कम अंतर होना) - राम और श्याम की पहचान कर पाना बहुत कठिन है ,क्योंकि दोनों में उन्नीस बीस का ही अंतर है । १५.उलटी गंगा बहाना - (अनहोनी हो जाना) - राम किसी से प्रेम से बात कर ले ,तो उलटी गंगा बह जाए ।
