Main issue is that DMK does not have any MP in Loksabha and only 4 in Rajya Sabha. So they do not have number in the parliament. PM will be busy hosting Shinzo Abe over weekend. Monday is last chance for any decision but seems Congress is not going to relent since Herald issue have hit a nerve. AIADMK seems decided that CSE junta does not constitute a vote bank and pressing for relief package from Centre would better serve their electoral prospects . So its now almost impossible for postponement unless DMK and AIADMK join issue and present it as some kind of step motherly treatment to TN and hegemony of North etc.
I don't want to bring north-south issue into it,but the feeling on ground down here is that if something of this epic proportions had happened in Delhi, without a second thought it would have been postponed...

dont be hopeless. students must hv contacted ADMK as well. plus now since this news in media now, expect ADMK to join the bandwagon soon. bcos here in TN competitive politics is the norm !!
some body approach Rajnikanth , he is good friend of Modi ji and also he s sympathetic to students, between today is his birthday.. hopefully he can do something..
Bhai why cant all these people raise their voices at one time . i cant take it any more. every day there is a news. it shows the matter is of no importance to them . All the ministers are from Tamil Nadu , and they cant co-ordinate ..
Sab Bakc**i chal raha hai ..every one is trying for just sake of trying ..
chances are low that exam will be postponed . I know how tough time it has been for u chennaian friends. dont loose ur hope . and all the best ..

you are right but your explanation is wrong...they too fight for it..atleast whole north get united "there isnt anything called delhi native people" its a state for everyone ..even if patna aur lucknow got affected student would have done evrything possible plus there MPs join them(remember the CSAT issue..when it wasnt a pure north issue )..they protested ...even gone violent same isn't true for south....u can atleast protest the same in chennai(infront of CM office)..r u getting support from other southern states student...except few MP..none is aggressively pursuing it ..
so it isnt north vs south..but about how you do it..
If exam is not postponed , toppers will be from Tamil nadu,so that media will not go behind disadvantaged TN aspirants... unlikely some thing will happen at this short notice. Good luck to all from TN writing mains.
