To be honest, never heard of them. But then I don't have sociology optional. Most people here in New Delhi take up either Vajiram's Mahapatra Sir, or Upendra's classes. Theirs are the popular notes.
Mahapatra Sir's notes are available easily in xeroxed format + good handwriting in any xerox shop in Rajinder Nagar & Mukherjee Nagar.

if you're preparing for 2013, you could also refer some books..like 'haralambos & heald'...'abraham & morgan' for thinkers... for paper-1..also NCERTs - XI, XII...
I was speaking to a friend who had appeared for interview this time. I dont have socio optional, but since he score 181 in Paper -1 of Socio, I asked him what he had ever done about it to score so high. He told me that he had summarised the entire book Haralambos and written that out. and he got 181!! So, I think Haralambos is definitely a must read for Socio students.

Can you please confirm whether it was 'Harlambos and Holborn' or 'Harlambos and Heald' ????
