Guys .... doesn't it look awkword that 4 people selected in first 10 roll no.s i.e. 0000001 to 0000010.... A BIG 40%... and 50 selected in first 300 odd no.s while no single person between roll no. 0776281 to 0777140 (A BIG GAP OF ABOUT 900 PEOPLE... where unfortunately my roll no falls)

Why is it that as we moves down on this table.... roll no.s are getting sparse..it can't be just a coincidence...
..DO UPSC ALLOCATE ROLL NO. AFTER CHECKING THE KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENT....intelligents first.... and duffers later(no offence)

1. People who r preparing seriously and senior candidates might have registered immediately
2. The later candidates are those who registered just for the sake of it and appeared for the exam

no, but serious people fill the form in first few minutes to get the UPSC as centre.

Every yr happens the same .dont create chaos .go through past yr pdfs , hightest selections are from roll no upto 10k .

I have given 2 interviews... never filled form that early... though have seen this mentality only in delhi... as people expect upsc as center.... but there too didn't saw that craze... in other cities... never heard of it...

There is no correlation between roll no and centre. I have written mains from 3 centres but always had roll no within 1000 coz I applied early. So its only first come first serve
