toppers recommend at times due to persnal allegiance or other factors. but certainly that book it is not sufficient.Rather any single book is not.. you have to understand the topics well and just write a balanced to the point answer in exam....
  • first read ncert(11th and 12th) and sriram economy material.then u can go for any material u like
  • Bhai it's a good book ...but go through ncerts first 11-12 (ignore the mathematical parts) then sanjiv verma and supplement it with news paper and mrunal ....
  • Start with ncert macroeconomics then read sanjeev verma..after reading these two u will b able to understand economics related current affairs for gs3..for the syllabus part u can follow Ramesh Singh as per u plan
  • ^ By syllabus I mean topics related to core concepts of economics generally asked in prelims
Questions of mains are mainly current affairs based u know
