Bhai, last year I was also selected for the same job. But, did not join. Nothing bad about the job as such. Now, answering ur query on the basis of information I had gathered. Work load- Not much, managable. Leniency - Do not expect. In fact, they are not very lenient in granting leaves. But, medical ground pe u can take long leaves. Posting aa gai kya? If it is chennai then leniency nai hogi in leaves. second thing, they can give u extension for some days, but I dont think they give extension like 2 months. Again, if you are expecting to write mains this time then ask for extension till then. They dont give leaves during training which is usually of 2 months.
