Are they decided on the basis of Roll Number, Home state, Alphabetically or Randomly ? I need this information as I will have to schedule a few things accordingly if I get through mains this year.
P.S. - I am from Bihar and my roll number is in 4 digits.
It is on the basis of region as well as language of interview. To my knowledge, category is not the basis. areas near Delhi are called first, then regions based on ease of connectivity, I suppose. But that doesn't explain why people giving interview in English from Bihar had interviews nearly 1.5 months after they began last year.

Maharashtra and gujarat areas had interviews after 2 weeks from the starting date.
I think southern states had the interview in 2nd half that is May 1st and 2nd week.
