Rapid religious demographic changes in East and North-east India due to illegal Muslim immigrants.

According to 2001 census only 6 districts in Assam were Muslim majority now the figure is 9.
Darrang district of Assam had a Muslim population of 35.5% in 2001 census. In 2011, it had 64.33%

Same case in Bengal which shares a border with Bangladesh.In three districts of Bengal, Murshidabad, Malda and North Dinajpur, the Muslim population has surpassed the Hindu population.
