On the cabinet mission question, I marked D, none of the above reasoning cabinet mission recommended confederation of states only and not strong federation. Can someone clear the doubt please?

But the answer for that qn comes to be d) union of states in TMH. Anyways it eliminates federation option. Hope UPSC goes for D.
