Sincere request to the over excited first attempt novices...learn to control your emotions and restrain from spreading some false information on sensitive topics. The psychic damage you have done with those comments are enormous.
And we cant blame these people. It is UPSC's mistake to ask some simple, idiotic questions and playing with lives of thousands of sincere aspirants. UPSC thinks that it is smart by introducing randomness in pattern of questions asked. But it doesn't realize what it is doing is complete BULLSHIT! When serious aspirants here are preparing what Basel III recommendations and their effects are, UPSC asks to which sector Basel is concerned with! I don't know what they are testing here. Questions like NITI Ayog, Fortaleza decleration are substandard and demoralizing many people. Hope UPSC is aware of what they are doing and be responsible while framing questions.

Quoting from the article: Now this sad teacher doesn't even know that last year's cutoff was 53.25% not 58% of 385 (58% = 223).
Now what are the possible explanations. Either this guy is really really bad at maths to calculate 205/385 = 58%. This is a VERY likely explanation given this guy's anti-csat stance. After all this is the IQ level of the moron brigade that lead the anti-csat andolan. The other explanation is that he is lying outright to create panic among students so that they rush to his coaching institute. Even this explanation is also logical, given the integrity level of andolankaaris
Which explanation seems more logical? I am honestly confused.
P.S. Personally, am in an extremely safe zone - thanks to a lot of calculated guesses and luck factor. So all the anti-csat fools who hate me here need not rejoice. Just enjoy your randomness, you asked for it. I won't be surprised if UPSC asks even more factual questions (Like what is the capital of Telangana, When did India win independence etc.) and 30 superhard questions (like the Champak one) next year. This is what you guys protested for, and personally I am glad that you got it.
TL:DR - Don't direct your anger towards UPSC. It is really the fault of those protestors. UPSC doesn't want to positively reinforce these anti-constitutional methods. You are just caught in the crossfire. UPSC isn't pure evil, its just necessary evil.
