frankly speaking, if you are a Muslim you can have a visit to GS mentors and avail a huge discount just because you are from a particular community. this itself gives a wrong message to society and cause disparities.
And I agree with @mrunal fan . let me tell you admin staff will treat you well till the time you haven't paid full amount and the day you are done with that 'koi nhi puchega tumhe. ' Rarely you would receive any call for change in class schedule.-> you would miss the class( my friend missed a week classes because of this)-> you would go to the admin urge for the recorded video lecture -> you will get answer " WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE, and you wont get any lecture".-> After 2 days a girl will come and ask for lecture-> she would get the videos for last 2-3 months. -> and you would ask yourself ' saala maine kya galat kiya h". Ab bhai koi aisa reaction tolerate kar sakta h to jaye aur 1 sal maje le. I must say though few faculty members are good and advice you whenever you ask but overall ratings to this institute as of now is not much in +ve.

GS mentors is not as bad as it is being presented. I have done my coaching here and I must say I was more than satified. Classes were good and notes were comprehensive. They take care of most of the things. But any coaching will give you only 50 %, rest 50 % is your effort.
Further, I am a hindu and did not face any discrimination there. Few relatives may have got discount.
In my batch there were many non-serious aspirants who were not regular but later used to ask for videos. Managment nver promised us videos at the time of admission. They were kind enought to give people videos if they missed classes. So you can't blame management if they failed to provide it.
And yes Mrunal is unparallel. We all are his big fan.
And yes @APS89 , khan is better is terms of tests. Because they conduct regular tests that too ncert based so you never loose the pace and that is must for upsc prep.
@maan9216 .. not bad if you can join module wise. like for polity u can go to mohanti sir.. . But dont hurry up.,before all this u must evaluate yourself as per your educational background. Like if you are a science student, why would u pay for gen science, just stick to newspaper and a standerd book+ internet sources for enviornment and gen science.

So don't rely much on the coaching. Join for the guidance if hv money. they can make u learn faster only if u are willing to learn. Only self study can make u clear the examination. So I am joining vajiram just to hv a fixed schedule of studying .
