Would the Interview Board know about my Previous Attempts History and . . . .

Could anyone who has filled DAF / Faced the Interview Board - please elaborate on below points,

1 - Would the interview board know In How many previous attempts i've cleared Prelims / Mains and in How many attempts i'd reached till the interview stage ?
2 - If yes, then do this information get filled by the aspirant in the DAF or do they have it arranged from records based on candidate ?
3 - Does the board have the 'Candidate's CURRENT year's Mains marks as well as PREVIOUS year's mains marks" before them during interview
4 - Till Before some years when i was in graduation - in the toppers interviews - the question - "What do you think was the reason behind your previous attempts failures and till where did you reach in your previous attempts" was an "Almost certain question" as read in various toppers' interviews at that time. But current toppers rarely mention whether this question was asked to them or not - Is it a general practice now-a-days to ask such questions during interviews - OR, "Do the board solely evaluates you based on your current year's performance"

NOTE -> None of the above 4 points have any repeated query.

  • They will know how many attempts you have previously given. You yourself fill the information. They don't have your mains marks as far as I know. Even if they do that won't influence your interview marks.

Board is no more bothered why you failed or anything of that sort. They also know there is very high competition and not qualifying doesn't amount to failure. They are no longer interested in job preferences either. In interview a fourth attempt person and first attempt person have equal grounds.
    So don't bother
  • OK thanks @kitty,

OK so the candidate fills in daf - how many attempts I've given, but Not filled whether he was failed in pre / mains ?
