Posting one line from the draft ->

Sir, we demand that 2016 should be made an OPEN YEAR, whose attempt and age should not be counted in the overall age and attempts limits for ANYONE, and all those who were eligible to write the exam in 2015 should be allowed to appear in the exam in 2016.
(Trying to unload any calculation effort from the govt's head)

Draft is under the process of REFINING and being MORE INCLUSIVE, that is why it is taking more time as some sentences take one hour in discussing and framing before writing them into the draft.

Our purpose is that anyone who reads it ONCE should be able to explain the FULL CAUSE even to a TV journalist.

Alongwith a 'single page summary' is also prepared.

Some of us (well-qualified for this task) had promised to send me their OWN write-ups by today morning but some of them have been a little late due to some individual reasons. So the draft would be posted tomorrow after Discussing and INCLUDING the WORTHY & STRONG 2-liners in the draft at appropriate places.
  • agar milta hai to itna clause nehi rahega mujhe lagta hai. bas simple aur ek bar sabko exam dene dega. is it ok? @Bron Singh
Does that mean one blanket attempt for young and old alike?

yeah that is the idea. one blanket attempt for all. 33 yrs and 7 attempts for 2016.
I am not so sure that upsc would specify as 33/7. If it does, then there will lot of people will be left out.

those who are 30,,and exhausted 4 attempts due to this c....ya paper in prelims will be getting attempt in 2016 legally..what i am trying to say is extra attempt irrespective of number of attempts in 2016/2017
  • those who appeared or not ,in 2011 ,will definitely get some relief by court..but continue this journey...2015 sufferers must get attempt.
surely they must get an attempt...but it should not be luck based p.t exam with one paper only and extra attempt should be irrespective of whether a candidate has attempt left or not
  • There should also be a request to have Age calculated by 1st January instead of 1st August as that in Engineering Services
  • 1 rti dalte h..asking UPSC.. The average marks in paper 1 and 2 of successful candidates also the highest marks in both papers for last 4 years.. I'm sure this will add weight to our argument that p2 was way more scoring and important. In 2013 1 of my friend got around 192 in p2.
  • There should also be a request to have Age calculated by 1st January instead of 1st August as that in Engineering Services
Bhai mixing nai karte abhi demands ki...I think
  • We have to demand at least two attempts
As gs improvement require time and luck also ultimately
  • In GS paper most well-prepared candidates secure more or less same score which falls short of cut-off score by a few notches. Here chance factors come into play. Some people, by making guess, hit the target by chance. So the number of additional attempts should be equal to the number of years in which one-paper prelims is in operation (2015 and 2016) as this is a highly dicey scheme.Hopefully, there will be new scheme in 2017.
Asking for an "open year" is not legally tenable. In my opinion,it should be dropped.
