Why is there no demand for cancellation of CSE Prelims 2015... just look at the number of controversial questions in the paper....UPSC can't reject students from such incompetent question paper....there are many serious students who could not clear the exam and missed by 4-5 marks...when UPSC is testing students from 100 questions even 2 or 3 controversial questions could make a difference...and above all they refuse to release answer key so that students can file their grievances.....This is very unprofessional behavior..... I think we should demand for outright cancellation of this examination rather than asking for some extra attempts....chance of students were more hurt by these controversial questions than the CSAT. Obviously CSAT issue also affected those who were preparing hard for it due to its scoring nature. But in this authorities could say situation was same for everyone and we should have protested earlier...

There should not be any syllabus for CSE, Pre or Mains.....Nething under the sun should be prescribed..which any educated person should be able to answer..
P.S.: Actually syllabus abhi bhi nahi hai..syllabus prescribe karke dhokha diya jaa rha hai..jo syllabus mai hai uske alawa sab aata hai exam mai.. Pub Ad mai Taylor, Follett, Fayol, Simon yeh sab to jaise marr chuke hain UPSC ke liye ..isse accha to syllabus hata dein to zyada accha rahega..

Phir Anti-CSAT waale bolenge ki CSAT 'incompetent' ko promote karta hai kyunki aptitude jaisi cheezein sirf clerical exams ke liye honi chahiye ..
Bekaar ki demands rakhne se genuine demands bhi nahi maani jayengi.. Second, cancellation demand is absurd.. it will lead to polarisation of candidates..those who hav cleared Pre this time, do u think they wont challenge in the Court??

P.S.: CSAT or No-CSAT, Optional or No-Optional, have not mattered to me so far, have cleared Pre in all formats in General Category..would be writing my 6th consecutive mains .. success has remained elusive .. dont have much expections this time as well...
What I am saying these arguments would be loose and if we just demand extra attempt ...kuch nahi milega Instead we should ask for cancellation of this exam based on following points.. 1) 5-6 questions were controversial..even coachings couldn't build consensus over their answers 2) This has never happened in history of this examination that merit is prepared from mere 100 questions and aptitude part is completely excluded from it. 3) No answer key issued yet 4) Short notice of CSAT issue which was largely due to political motives 5) There should be alignment in paper setting of mains and pre...In mains where they ask good analytical questions...here in prelims paper is mostly fact based 6)CSAT was made qualifying to create level playing ground for all aspirants....how in the world could GS paper be made level playing where 3rd or 4th attemptee would naturally have advantage over people who are attempting it for first time....or even if they want to test only on GS.....then more questions should be on dynamic part/ current affairs over static part 7) Paper setting is amateur...this is a regular issue ....2 years ago they just translated passages from google for hindi aspirants...now they are asking questions which could possibly have 2 or 3 answers...They dont understand that now UPSC is all different ....there are more than 30k students who prepare very seriously for this paper and prelims carry great weightage in filtering out students.. so by setting such controversial papers, they are hurting chances of serious students and it all became a gamble to clear such papers..

UPSC ki history mai pichle kuch saalon main aisa bahut ho chuka hai .. jo sahi nhi tha .. log abhi tak uss 'injustice' ki keemat chuka rahe hain dost..
