[QUERY] English Literature Or Sociology

Members of the forum lend me your ears!

Well, I am in a huge dilemma here pertaining to the optional.
I am an Engineering student in my 4th year and my attempt is 2016.
Now my dilemma is which optional to opt for:
1. English Literature
2. Sociology
3. Anthropology

I know the three subjects are vastly different but I have preliminary interest in all the above subjects.

I have performed significantly well in English in my school days but seeing the absence of guidance in English I am a bit afraid.
Sociology is more available and common but a lot of subjectivity exists.
While anthropology is objective, it is more.difficult to study for me (no biology background).

Kindly help me. All help is appreciated.

I love to read. Anything. And I believe I can read English even when I am tired beyond means. But the veil of secrecy around this subject is preventing me from opting for it straight away.
What is your background?

@Vortex Hello ..even I have taken English literature. The syllabus is simple although as said before the history part is quite boring ..however if you really enjoy reading as in if you have always had reading as a hobby because if ur not really into readin it can get very monotonous and one can get lazy. With sociology a lot test series are available and a lot of material is there .however with English its much simpler and more interesting than sociology but sociology is in a way over lapping with GS and essay.There is no such thing attached with English literature. So choose wisely.i hope this cleared your confusion a bit !

i don't know about english Lit. but sociology performed better this year.
Also no optional in good or Bad, it is the student who is good or bad.
