What is the use of revised service preference??

Guys what is the use of revised service preference??
I know nearly 10 ppl who were not able to improve their rank but still in that final holy pdf.

Is revised preference is of no use or those 10 has opted for all service or am I missing something??

Comments

  • Now the candidates who missed by slight margin should come forward to fight to make it of some useotherwise it will only help selected aaspirants to get better service and will not benefit who missed nearly
  • We will have to check our marks first, isn't it? Isn't the reserve list made so that there are no vacant seats?
  • No reserve list is different!!
  • Got it. But this is unfair! Can't we do anything about this?
  • what can be done?
  • Someone please make an excel sheet of the seats which may remain vacant with selected candidates present service and there rank in cse 2014
  • Every time due to time boundations and as candidates were asked to provide all preferences the matter could not be pursued but this time if we knew beforehand that which rank candidate is not not joining we could work to get these vacancies to be filled by next in merit candidates along with 127 reserve list vacancies,,,,,seeing the high no of previously selected candidates my estimation is this no can be anywhere between 50 to 100 so with reserve list 177 to 227 candidates can still make it to some service and than again few in next merit might have not opted for all services so about 250 ranks after the last selected can still make entry,,,,if the matter is genuinely proceeded by us
  • @dukeinbattle i hv made thread..but don't see ny reply there.
