o maay gaad, this is it.GS aka pure luck especially for those near the cutoff cluster will decide our fates.Game over for those who are poor in GS
It was always a game of luck.
GS is highly uncertain, and that too only 100 question, not a good way to evaluate
bhai prelims u still have certainty.but gs in mains is horrendous.vague question are asked in name of gs.but still I find ppl are comfortable with removal optional but do not want in any reform in the standard of question that upsc is asking.optional are only vital role because there is not much difference between the candidates as far as their gs performance is concerned.those who rock their surely get selected this is what I have learnt on basis of last year and this year's performance.
its not only about engineers vs humanities...many good people from both sides clear...its just that elections in two states (read up/bihar) shud not determine the fate oof whole India.
Notification for this year is already cleared by dopt ... Modi has cleared it bfr leaving for china ... 2011 guys hv extra attempt with some riders, be careful while filing the form .. Rest of the changes u already know... But those suggestion of optional removal will b forwarded to committee, no such discussion is going on at top level etc... Stop fooling ppl ... If u r ready to make a bet them I m in ... Optional LL b thr this yr ... I cant say anything about delay coz dopt has cleared it just yesterday n to prepare online form according to it LL take time... So delay can be due to technical issues not due to optional etc Gn
One more thing I forgot to tell u... Upsc has sought clarifications regarding making csat qualifying for ifos ... Upsc wants to count its marks in pre fr ifos ppl Major issues already settled h... Just clarifications are going on... No other changes this year
Acknowledging the gesture by the young scholars, Dr Jitendra Singh said, Narendra Modi Government is committed to provide “Maximum Governance with Minimum Government” and to achieve this objective in true spirit, we need to attract into Civil Services such youth who not only have calibre but also have an inborn aptitude for administration. The decision has been taken to revise the pattern and syllabus of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) in such a manner as to provide a level playing field to all the aspirants, regardless of their background, rural or urban upbringing, or stream/subjects studied by them.
its not only about engineers vs humanities...many good people from both sides clear...its just that elections in two states (read up/bihar) shud not determine the fate oof whole India.
