Strategy- (everything written here is true)

My optional forCS is Geography. The only two subjects I found myself comfortable with were Agriculture and Geology as paper 1 of both the optionals are covered by geography.

Appeared in English and GS on 22nd Nov from Lucknow. There wre only 16 candidates.

Met a person called Vinay and exchanged numbers as our optionals were common(i.e Agri and Geo) to discuss the subject.

Two days before the Agri paper the guy called and I straight away said tht I vl nt appear as I hvn't studied anything. But somehow he convinced me. He said," attendace lagane se hi select ho jayenge".

Agri paper 1 was covered by geography. For paper 2 , i googled previous years question papers and read sme basic stuff abt plant cell and all. R Gupta's book was a blessing. I read the whole subject for jst a day.

For Geology,I went running to a friend who was pursuing PhD ( Geology) from Lucknow University and he taught me several important topics which could be asked in the exam, particularly in Paper 2. Fortunately , 4 questions wre based on the topics he taught me. I also read K M Bangar on the day before the exam. Paper 1 was okayish but in paper 2 killing time was getting difficult.

Since tht day I forgot abt it as I thot ki koi chance nahi.

This was my strategy for IFoS. I dont remember the total attempt in the optional papers.

Vl share my interview script later .
