Which is the best area outside of Rajendar nagar ( a distance of 4-5 kms from Rajendar nagar market is okay) for students to live and study... Only requirements are peaceful conditions and good living environment and rooms with separate bathroom ... Also wouldn't it be cheaper and cost effective to take a room in such area than Rajendar nagar where the prices are inflated even for a average room...boy here.. Requiring a room for 2 boys ...also what would be the relative price difference?... Tia
@rkr06 there are rooms in ORN but the Broker's network is so strong that the hoseowners wont appreciate a direct room seeker.but happiy that many aspirants are using Forumias to reduce the 'broker-effect' in ORN.and some house owners are also changing there attitude towars aspirants. If there is any i will surely post in this platform. and for this post on girls room its still the 'old wine in new bottle' yaar.(check my older posts )
@abhi4046 If u are about to join for vajiram/any other coaching institute rajinder nagar is the good place as it is in very close proximity to the institutes and printed materials shops ,hangouts etc etc..and also it can save your metro time and tiredness that u will face in the metro journey. For civil service exam preparation each seconds counts ,money is secondary i think. And if u are planning to have self study environment u can choose either patel nagar or shadipur (maximum distance ).The trend is freshers used to prefer in ORN, Karolbag areas and old guys used to shift to other places where room rents are bit low.If you have a group and u r planning to have self study/GD then you can obviously avoid ORN.The price difference is maximum 3000 to 4000 when comparing ORN with Patel nagar.but now also its getting reduced. For more information on patel nagar so many guys are here on forum from Patel Nagar U can ask.And remember being in ORN or Patel nagar wont get u any assurance from UPSC
