Anybody else here suffers from a slow handwriting? I'm fairly certain more than anything that's what shaved 10-15 marks off each of my papers.
I do. Well, sort of. Had to leave the first 13 questions of GS I because of that (started the paper from Q. 25).
For the next three GS papers, I allotted time for each answer and when the time was over, I just finished the answer at whatever line I was and moved on to the next one. Not very sane, I know- but I ended up leaving only 1-2 questions in the next three papers.
Man, the prelims are my least favorite stage of the exam by MILES
This year is SCARY 270 to be safe?
Yep. it's even more important to clear the fence by a wide margin this time because there's very little time between the prelims and the mains. So we need to rake up enough points there to resume mains prep without the slightest twinge of apprehension weighing us down.
@sananthan Only filling IAS/IPS- in the DAF you mean, when the time comes?
Also, you'll probably end up in IRS, for now at least, and will probably do the training till the 2014 final results are out? I guess we may run into each other then!

Yup, in the DAF. Yeah, I'm pretty certain I'll get C&CE, so it's at least six months in Faridabad. Haha yeah!

I think I can assume I'd get any one of the two IRS services.
This year is scary indeed, but we're scarier
Only filling IAS and IPS this time. Both IRSes are equal for me (in spite of a slight bias towards IT) and I was never very keen on IFS to begin with
