  • guys any news for philosophy
  • From the cutoffs and estimated marks, I gather that I will land up in IRS or IPS. Those who are seeking improvement in rank please enlighten as to how to prepare for CSE 2014 while undergoing training this year. Do you get deferral for a year, or take leave till mains and do the missed part of training next year along with next batch? Or can one write Mains along with training?Do you get enough time to prepare?

You can do the foundation course and study meanwhile, or you can get it deferrred by a year and do it with the succeeding batch. If you do do the foundation course and qualify the next year around, you are exempt from the it the following year.

However, it's too early to decide on all this. It's not the 10th/11th of June.. Yet.

I know of someone who took her exams while doing the foundation course and secured a rank in the top 50 last year. I also know of someone who could not clear the Mains exam this year while doing the training.
  • Just saw the 2014 notification. Possibility of multiple essays and 30% cutoff for English paper

Hopefully I wouldnt have worry about the changes :- :-SS
