CM: Good Afternoon . Please sit down So what do you do for Kartavya NGO Have you heard each one teach one campaign ? You have done quizzing so tell me why do you participate in quizzing ? ( I had won two three awards in my 11th and 12th and it was not hobby interest) Tell me the various types of Air Conditioning System ? Tell me advantages and disadvantages ? Which Air conditioning system is in the room ? Why it is preferred compared to other systems ?
M1 : So you like to do quizzing ( I never liked , i had to participate because of my school ) Tell me for what research Einstein got nobel prize ? ( I told relativilty wrong) Tell me where is C V Raman intitute in India ? ( I guessed Chennai again wrong) He told you should know these as you like quizzing. I clarified sir that it was way long back and as such i dont like.
Then he shifted to my work experience asked what did you do. Then he started with economy . Tell me basic parameters on which economic growth is measured ? Compare the Indian economy with five years back condition ? Why Indian economy is not growing? Is China also affected by global sentiments ? Why bureaucrats are not taking policy decision ? ( I told due to RTI etc) RTI came in 2005 why didnt they take decisions before that ? Is there any connection between bureaucratic decision making delays and corruption ?

M2 : So you have studied in Air Force School , did you any friends joined Armed Forces ? Why are there very few joining army ? Why is there so much shortage of personnels ? Are Indians no more patriotic ? It is often said that Indians lag sense of History . Do you agree ? ( I said sir we have not well written but we completely not lack sense of history If we not can you tell me name of any neutral historian in ancient and medieval India ? I said I know none and history was mainly written by court poets. He again said that this is what he pointed out that Indians lag sense of history? Tell me any strategic document written in ancient India ? (I said Arthashastra) Is it strategic ? What is Artha and what is shastra ? Then how is it strategic ? It is pointed that in garb of being peacefull we Indians hide our cowardice ? Are we cowardice by genes ? We have always been invaded even by Ghaznavi with his odd 800 horses ? Why India doesn't have any book on war crafts . He gave me examples of Chinese etc but no Indian ? He said why Indian war tactics like Chakravyuh declined and no other method was evolved ? He said why India's technology in war could not evolve after Guptas ? He said why marathas failed in battle of panipat ? How there line of communication was cut off ?
Since you work for NGO can you name famous NGO in teaching ? I said Pratham Can you define its exact operating mechanism . Tell me exact

He asked then various typed of rocks ? Where these rocks can be found ? What is difference between rock and mineral ? What is difference between a mineral and an ore ? What is difference between mineral and crystal ? What is distribution of various mineral in India ?

Suppose there is huge land scarcity and you need to contruct houses would you demolish heritage sites and construct resources in their places ? I said no ? He asked why then gave blah blah that we must learn from our heritage sites past is key to future and lastly we must leave them for our future generation so that they can know how they have evolved. He asked this can be done by books why to waste money and resource in protecting them. I said its better to learn from practical sources rather than reading books.
Then he said suppose in same scenario instead of heritage sites there are trees the what would you do? I said if there are few trees I would cut down and ensure compensatory afforestration
He said what type of leader would you become . You are sacrificing resources which have present utility and protecting the others which dont ? I said sir I would not cut down jungles or disturb ecology and then suggested other methods to use wasteland
he said would not changing wasteland into other would disturb the topography .I said it would but not to great extent.
He said How would you know how efficient a person is for a particular job and how would you lead them in different scenarios ?

What is self actualization ? What is self actualization for you ?
Ok have you heard Quasars and Pulsars ? What is difference between them ? What do each of them emit ? How can we use the radiation they emit for humans ?

I said no in almost half questions. Alka madam always said never mind and gave me hints to guess it but i could not.She was very cordial. I always kept smiling and when i attempted last question i said something absurd and fictional and she laughed. I smiled and thanked ever body. Alka madam asked few other factual questions too

Even I tried tracking mine. It's saying reached GPO New Delhi (on 12th April). Is that it or is it supposed to say Reached the address mentioned? P.S. - I sent it on 11th April.

It does say where the package was delivered or its last location . I checked the status code on the following link : http://www.indiapost.gov.in/Pdf/No.57-02_2010-BD_MD_1.pdf . Hope it helps. I think mine will be re-routed the same day that is today.

It is not about you, it is what they know. I had interview with same board and they also asked questions from History ( Not my optional and panipat war is his favourite: M2) nyway Best of luck and let's hope for the best. BTW, your interview is much more tougher.
