Yes. How was your experience? As far as i have interacted with candidates from his board, he gives no expressions and tries to get into an argument and then analyses how they respond. Was it there in your case too ? And in the end he remains dissatisfied too... .. strategy ?
He was rather stern in the beginning, did disagree a bit on one question but was fine otherwise. I don't think he was dissatisfied with me, @messi9105 , because he agreed more or less to what I had to say. Before leaving his chamber however, hearing my reply to his last question, he gave me a warm smile. So yeah, not completely expressionless there.
If what you are saying is his usual modus operandi, then either I've completely messed it up or things can swing in my favour. A li'l over 9 days left, looking forward to finding out. Fingers tightly crossed.

CM: Why do you want to join the services? Why did you take History as an optional? When did the medieval period begin in Indian history? a question about North eastern medieval history that I can't recall because I had no idea about the answer. M1: how would you tackle the drug menace in Punjab? name the ancient sites in Punjab. what is heritage? What is Sufism? which famous heritage buildings in Punjab have wall paintings? what are the rajasthani and pahari schools? m2: what is Anno Domini? How was the Latin term derived? What is the evolution of the word Punjab? what is homeopathy? what is holistic medicine? what is Unani medicine? how is it different from Ayurveda? what are the other indigenous systems of medicine? M3: why is the chakra in our flag important? why did Buddhism decline in our country? who was Ashoka ? 2 other questions can't recall. he was kind of disinterested and kept on glancing at the CM while asking the questions M4: What is the definition of museology, musicology, astrology, philology, psychology and psephology? who wrote the book ' the museology of innocence'? who is Orhan Pamuk? which country does he belong to? which Nobel Laureates were born in India? (he emphasized that they were not Indians) what are the functions of the Enforcement directorate? what is the PMLA and FEMA? he asked me the functions of another govt agency, I can't recall which one. that's it. History kind of dominated the interview :P though in fact David sir himself did not ask tough questions.

Just that he is a first timer and insider infos are not favourable ...this makes me a bit jittery ....all the best bro ...lets hope he gives enough to both of us

Just finished with mine. I was the first one in for my board. D.K. Dewan board. They were cool and cordial, but not enough to allay my anxiety. I messed up most of my answers, which I should have been able to answer well, in retrospect, as I knew them well.
I'm now cursing myself for not attending any mocks or sessions with friends. They'd surely have helped me a bit in countering the nervousness in answering.
D.K. Dewan board- how much can one expect with answers mostly like 'Umm..', 'Err..', 'I'm sorry, I don't know, sir' and a few factual long-winded answers that the chairman had to cut short?
@Zaphod . Dont think too much into it bro. Sometimes the worst interviews end up with a positive result and the best ones go bad. Its just a weeks time for result. So lets be calm.
