Guys I think this forum consists of ASPIRANTS like you and me. Posing these questions here assumes that someone is a qualified doctor AND knows the UPSC rules, which is very very unlikely. My advice is to contact UPSC or qualified doctors who conduct these tests in various hospitals.
guys please tell me about brain infarct / post stroke people having difficulty during medical ? no other physical problems at present but in the past have been afflicted with brain infarct thanks
Guys, Pl enlighten; if any one has any information regarding such neurological issue making someone medically unfit for IAS/IPS? As a matter of fact , I am also suffering from AVM,in which there is risk of blackouts(I have sustained a few in the past) or vein rupture in the brain. Although, I have completed my treatment, but the risk of a blackout or rupture still remains,though with a lesser probability.

Since the health checkup does not include a MRI or CT , unless there is any residual neurological deficit, AVM will not be detected. However, in the interests of your own health and well being, don't go in for IPS or any other police service. Career to banta rahega, but health se upar kuch nahi. Just my 2 cents.
