Please keep dicussion academic in nature and do not turn discussions into a political one.
Delete this thread. This is hardly an academic topic. Its not the government that invented this terminology. Academic discussion is possible only when the topic is academic. Its not the business of UPSC to literally ask questions regarding the filth that comes out of a propagandists mouth, and the day it happens, I swear, I will stop appearing this exam.

Urban Naxal is a book written by a producer who made 3rd grade cinemas and failed to gain traction and wants now to become a MP. This in turn is used by the other extremes like Mr. Dua, who use it to show, see blah blah we are so vulnerable

Anyone who fails to agree with a bhakt is an urban naxal nowadays.
Yaar yeh bhakt kaun hote h, koi terrorist organisation h ya koi illegal activities se related group. Eak community ne iss word ko kehna shuru Kiya. But unki problem samajh m aati h , lekin upsc aspirants bhakt word use karte h to Kuch samajh m nhi aata.
I've no business to be saying this here. But I'll say it inspite of what others will think of me.
This is going on for some time now, i consider forum my second home and when things go bad, I just have a weird feeling, I cant express it, but it's just weird and not pleasant.
If you have something to say, please say it in a way which will not provoke others.
You have the right to dissent, use it but use it judiciously.
You could have just said, this urban naxalism is a misnomer and no such things exists, probably a conspiracy by X y z. Kindly don't read such stuff for UPSC.
But no, urban naxalism is filth, ye woh incel, bhakt, jihad, idiot and what not.
Yes, feel free to bash me now. I'm used to it. I won't reply anymore. Just disappointed that people who are so well read can't measure their words carefully. Smh.
