What is urban naxalism ?

  • This ain't coming in UPSC. Man, this wasn't even coined by the government, rather by a retard some agnihotri dude, who asked "kapde utar ke nacho" to some actress and further the idiot was exposed by newslaundry, in an interview where he says "facts are not facts"
  • Recruitment of middle class urban intelligentsia in the Naxal cadres to further the Naxal propaganda/ideology in the mainland.

    Implications to internal security:
    1. Brainwashing in educational institutions and workplaces
    2. Disruption of societal harmony
    3. Stalling growth and developmental processes
    4. Possibility of violence reaching urban centres

    Difference from conventional naxalism:
    1. Conventional Naxalism relies on robbery, threats, violence. Urban Naxalism relies on debates, demonstrations and protests.
    2. Conventional naxalism is carried out in the open and Urban naxalism mostly happens in the background or under the veil of some other issues.

Govt approach mainly involves around Intelligence activities. Intelligence agencies regularly monitor and keep an eye on suspects to prevent or thwart any security threats.
Im not sure if there's any policy out in the public domain that is specifically meant for Urban naxalism.
Thanks for your exam oriented explanation.

The biggest crisis of our century is our generation, which has deplorably low voices of reason. Most never had any holistic knowledge about country, and with time news changed from being "read from newsppaers" to being circulated by social media. This generation has lost its voice of criticism, is buoyed and drawn by the TENOR of confirmationalism and importantly are impatient and lack the quality of accepting other people.

One who doesn't understand the value of freedom, is sooner or later destined to lose it.
  • Anyone who is termed as Urban Naxal by Vivek Agnihotri is "Urban Naxal" and rest are just as Bhakts

    Ps. No offence to anyone.

Makes me curious. Wait will see it. I don't think however UPSC will ever stoop that low to ask what are bhakts and what are urban naxals though. In fact such threads are articulated so that certain people can conform to their biases. Its okay to have bias, but this is blind confirmationalism.

  • Untill the Bhakts are out of scene, I'd say working in Central Services is far better than All India Services. I don't know how I can be politically neutral if I have to deal with incel Bhakts all day.
  • Please keep dicussion academic in nature and do not turn discussions into a political one.
