In mrunal discussion forum.. a guy wrote that he called Imran Farid(under sec, exam)..he said that 29 is the dead line...but can be extended...
If a date can be extended - Then that is not known as 'deadline' it is known as tentative date. As far as I know about government procedures - They don't have deadlines they only have tentative dates.
I had called UPSC on two different days this week. On both occasions i got moreover the same reply, quoting Shri Rajesh (exam section)- " There's no fixed date, but tentatively last week of July, otherwise first week of Aug".
